Valorant Store Redesign

    Details:

    • Software: Developed using Figma
    • Platform: Web
    • Development Duration: 5 Weeks
    • Team Size: Developed in a 3-person team (3 designers)

    About:

An interactable prototype of a full redesign of the Valorant in-game store, adding multiple new pages.

    Development:

Through surveys and research, we determined that Valorant's in-game store did not offer a wide enough catalog for players, with the extreme artificial scarcity having the effect of dissatisfying players who could never find anything they actually wanted to buy.

We decided to create a redesign that opened up the store allowing players to browse through a selection of older skins that would be available for purchase. This decision was later validated by Valorant's update adding the ability to buy items from past battle passes, 2 months after the completion of our unofficial store redesign.

Throughout the creation of the project, my contributions were focused on designing, creating, and implementing all of the interactive functionality as well as the visual design and style of the store.

I looked at Valorant's other UI for inspiration and created everything to be as seamless with the existing Valorant design as possible, intending to create a design that is as close I can to a potential official redesign.
